The HeatRock Radiant Fireplace Kit is a Heat Storage System in modular kit form. After years of research and development, we have developed a simple Do-It-Yourself modular refractory fireplace that any Mason can build. The modular core is made of 2400 lbs of castable refractory (firebrick). The parts are numbered for easy assembly and construction time is reduced to under 4 hours by following our step by step Installation Manual. After the core is constructed, it is faced with locally purchased brick, stone stucco or tile, giving you the appearance and style to match your decor. The technology behind the HeatRock Masonry Heater assures that each installation will be an environmentally positive clean burning system.

The HeatRock Masonry Heater is nothing more than a high mass heat storage system. For those unfamiliar with the process of how it works, just think of a Masonry Heater as a large warm rock in the middle of your home. One full load of wood is burned rapidly and the resulting heat is stored in the masonry mass. For the next 12 to 18 hours, the heat evenly radiates into the home after the damper is closed.

HeatRock  burns any kind of wood, hardwood, softwood, scrap wood or branches.
